In the event that the health authorities require that travel be prohibited in the Lanaudière region, making access to the chalet impossible, Évasion – Chalet & Spa will fully reimburse all sums paid by the client, regardless of the number of days preceding the stay.
In the event that the client wishes to cancel, but Évasion – Chalet & Spa is able to honor the reservation, the regular cancellation conditions will apply. Our standard refund policy will also apply if the number of people should be limited to one family for example.
In the event that the health authorities restrict travels between regions or cottage rentals in a way that we cannot honor the reservation, Évasion – Chalet & Spa will fully reimburse all amounts paid by the guest , regardless of the number of days preceding the stay.
In the event that the client wishes to cancel, but Évasion – Chalet & Spa is able to honor the reservation, the regular cancellation policy will apply.
Any cancellation must be notified in advance to the lessor. The guest has the option to cancel this rental agreement up to 31 days before the start of the rental. However, the first 30% payment will not be refunded. If the guest cancels the contract within 31 days before the start of the rental period, the first payment of 30% and the second payment of 70% will not be refunded.
We charge a cleaning fee for each stay regardless of the length and number of guests. The amount varies depending on the cottage chosen. We are also required to charge 14.975% sales tax as well as 3.5% lodging tax.
The guest agrees to pay the amount of $ 2000 to the landlord, as a security deposit to ensure the proper performance of its obligations 5 days before the scheduled start of the rental period. The security deposit can be increased for groups of 8 guests or more. This security deposit cannot be revised or generate interest.
The security deposit must be returned in full to the guest at the latest one month after the latter has given the keys to the landlord and actually left the premises. However, if the state of the premise does not comply with the initial one, the period for returning the deposit will be increased to three months.
The purpose of the security deposit is to guarantee any damage to the rented property.
The security deposit is returned to the guest after deduction of the cost of repairs or replacement due to any damage caused to the rented property or its movable items described in the Inventory.

Note that the chalet is built in the mountains on steep terrain. You will have to go down a few natural stone steps to access the property. Some parts of the terrain are steep and pose a risk of falling. We are not responsible for any injuries or damage that may occur during the occupation of the facilities by your group.
A maintained parking lot and access road have been built to access the property. However, certain types of vehicles may have more difficulty climbing up the hill, especially in winter. In case of uncertainty, we recommend that you leave your vehicles at the top of the hill. If you were to use a towing, the costs are entirely your responsibility.
We offer a mini bar with soft drinks, coffees and other non-alcoholic beverages. Their consumption will be charged according to the price list displayed on site. Generally the price is $ 2 + tx per drink.
Although the chalet is located in nature, we ask our customers to respect the neighborhood by avoiding excessive noise outside after 11 p.m. If we receive noise complaints, the tenant may have to pay compensation between $ 1,000 and $ 5,000 depending on the severity of the situation.
